We’ve arrived!
Ciao Tutti!
We finally arrived in Genova on the 1st after a pretty quick hop over the Atlantic. I think the 3 days of non-stop moving and running around really got to us and helped us adjust so quickly to the time difference.
We had a reservation at a hotel near the main train station, Genova P. Principe, for 10 days but were able to cut that short because we found an apartment that’s right near the water and was within our price range. It’s a nice 2 room apartment that’s newly furnished with everything Ikea (I believe). The guy we’re renting from owns a Gelateria on the Island of Giglio which is off of the Tuscan coast, I believe. Not a bad gig, 8 months there, 4 months here.
While we’ve been discovering the city we decided to take a little side trip to Portofino on Sunday. It was gorgeous and a much needed break from walking around Genova getting used to the city. More to come on that soon.
But alas, we have an apartment. The address is: Piazza Cavour 15/5, 16128 Genova, GE Italia. HERE is a map.
I’ll leave you now with a night shot of the Bigo that I took over the weekend.
Time to run now. We’ll post more soon!
Ciaooo!
