Francesco’s Italy
Tonight the Travel Channel premiered the first of a four episode show that’s all about traveling through Italy. Che fortuna! Francesco, the host, is an art historian from Venice who lovingly takes us from city to city sharing cultural and historic tid-bits along the way. You can really feel Francesco’s passion for his country as he shows us “The Romantic North” Venice, Padua, Vicenza, Verona, Milan, Turin and Portofino. Next stops will be “The Garden of Italy” and “The Heard of Italy.” Unfortunately, we’ll be on a plane over the Atlantic when the last episide “Land of My Mother” (Sicily) premieres, but that’s ok; the tour of the mainland will give me enough to dream about!
